Just Because I Am Black?

A white man asked his black friend, 'Do you think the he will get his Presidency Again?'

The black man responded by saying, Why not? Hell, in this country men are pulled over every day just cause They're black; passed over for promotions just cause they're black; Considered to be criminals just cause they're black; and thousands of you won't be reelecting him just because he's Black!

However, you do not seem to have a problem with that!

You all have been blinded at what this mighty man has done, he has changed the world and has empowered many children to know that they too can be a World-Leader and never again they have to worry about the inferior of a dominant race again.

This country was built with the sweat and whip off the black slaves' back, and now a descendent of those same slaves has a chance to lead the same country, where we weren't even considered to be people, where we weren't allowed to be educated, drink from the same water fountains, eat in the same Restaurants, or even Vote.

Today because of our forefathers fight we can speak and our voice will be heard, We can be strong and eventually those who attack will wither and go whimpering away.

It wasn’t because of the lawmakers that made it possible; it was because of those like Elizabeth Coleman “Betsy” who was the first black pilot; she fulfilled her dream during a time that it was almost impossible to fulfill as a person of color.

Maya Angelou who is a celebrated activist who has always stood on the grounds of equality now her very words to this day can be heard quoted from sea to shinning sea!!

So yes! I'm going to vote for him back! But it's not just because he's Black, but because he is hope, he is change, and he now allows me to understand that when my children say that they want to be President when they grows up, it is not merrily a fairy tale but just a short term goal.

Our children now see and understand that they can achieve what was once known as the impossible feat; for the person of color, with a strong stance my children they do know; That they Can DO ANYTHING and the Color of Black is a only the representation of Strength so others will know that they cannot be held back!!

Thanks to our many Forefathers who have shown to us throughout the many years our heritage that nothing they had gone through went in vain oh but on this day we celebrate our victory because not one creation can hold us back anymore.

On this black History month let us remember those slaves who took death as a way of fighting for equality.

Let us remember those Grandmothers and Grandfathers who still bear the physical and emotional scars from the mistreatment of the majority; it was because of those individuals who stood strong and bold that our children can today reach for anything the desire and they too can live The American Dream!!

They know they are strong and through this found Strength they know nothing can hold them back not even being the Worlds great Leader!!!
